Description
This painting was inspired by the breathtaking beauty found in our National Park's. Lake McDonald is the largest lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. The color of the rocks is determined by the presence or the absence of iron. The glaciers actually broke down the rocks into the tiny fragments and deposited them into the lakes. These colored rocks are actually found all around Glacier National Park.
