Description
As a teenager driving to Lake Cuyamaca for a day with friends was always a fun trip. The Cuyamaca dam is the second oldest in California and was completed in 1888. The lake supplies San Diego with drinking water. Annually the reservoir is stocked with over 38,000 lbs of trout. This painting is from the top of Stonewall Peak overlooking the lake.
